Who runs FotScout

  • FotScout is a personal project with no legal entity, run by Amr Batheeb, an independent football data analyst.

What we collect

  • When you request an invite or write to us: the form sends what you typed (name, email, organisation, role, your message) to us as an email. A quiet check by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) makes sure a person, not a program, is sending; it may look at technical details of your browser for that check only. Neither the website nor that check stores what you typed. If the form cannot send, your own email app opens instead.
  • When you browse the site: nothing about you. The site remembers your light or dark choice in your own browser only.
  • Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) handles every visit and sees the technical details any website receives (your IP address, browser, the page asked for) to deliver the site and keep it safe.
  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising on the website.
  • Invited members (when the app opens): your account details, your settings, and what you save (watchlists, notes, exports). This part is updated before members join.

What we use it for

  • To read your request or message and reply to you.
  • To run the service for invited members.
  • We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers.

Who sees it

  • The operator of FotScout.
  • The providers that run the service for us: Cloudflare (hosting) and our email provider. They process data only to provide their service.
  • Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

  • Requests and messages: as long as needed to reply; declined invite requests are deleted after 90 days.
  • Member accounts: while active; deleted within 30 days of a request.

Your rights

  • Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion: write to hello@fotscout.app. We reply within 30 days.

Security

  • The site is served over a secure connection (HTTPS). Member data is kept with the hosting provider's protections. No system is perfectly secure; we tell affected members if a breach happens.

Children

  • FotScout is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

  • We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; members are told before a change affects them.

Law

  • This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
